Trustee Opportunities, Exeter

Exeter-based charity, St Petrock and Heavitree Lands Charity has a long history in supporting people with their housing needs and today owns seventy almshouses across the City of Exeter.  The charity provides accommodation for local people with limited income, typically of retirement age.  As a result of investment portfolio success, the charity has recently been able to complete a new build of twenty-two new almshouses.  It is hoped they may potentially be able to repeat this again in future years, thus benefitting a greater number of older people in need of support.

New Trustees are currently being sought to bring additional expertise to the Board in the areas of financial management, social welfare and property and building pathology.   The Board meets quarterly in Exeter with sub-committees meeting as required.  To find out more about the Charity and how to apply, please download the Information Pack.  You can also contact Recruitment Partner, Jackie Dawkins at Shine Charity Recruitment, for a discussion about Trusteeship.  Jackie@shinecharityrecruitment.co.uk
