CHAIR OF TRUSTEES, EXETER CANAL AND QUAY TRUST

Formed in 1981,  the Exeter Canal and Quay Trust renovates, develops and leases out the heritage quayside properties and spaces and also funds relevant projects such as the Quay Words Literary Programme, the Exeter Heritage Harbour Festival and the Summer at the Quayside activity programme.  More recently the Custom House has also been transferred to its property portfolio. This is a Grade I Listed building that needs ongoing maintenance and has now been become a cultural  Hub.  The Trust is excited about further developing its role in the community and is now seeking a new Chair to support the Board and Trust to deliver this aspiration.

We are delighted to be working with ECQT to support their recruitment process.  We are keen to speak to people who are interested in the heritage and future potential of the area and are excited about the opportunities ahead.  You will need to bring sound governance knowledge, experience of chairing meetings, emotional intelligence, financial acumen and, of course, the time to dedicate to the role.
